Eagles and 76ers team with Meek Mill, Reform Alliance

The Philadelphia 76ers and Eagles squads teamed up in the City of Brotherly Love to host 30 kids for a special holiday experience.

The children met with the Philly NFL and NBA squads as part of a Reform Alliance program to help youth whose parents have had probation issues stemming from technicalities that have kept them behind bars.

The organization was founded by a group that included rappers Meek Mill and Jay Z, as well as Fanatics mogul Michael Rubin and patriots owner Robert Kraft.

The recent Sixers and Eagles event kicked off with an “Eagle for a Day” experience at the team’s NovaCare Complex, where Meek and Rubin gifted kids and their families merchandise.

The kids then competed in a “Jr. Combine” experience at the practice facility, and they also heard from head coach Nick Sirianni, caught passes thrown by Meek as a quarterback, and sprinted in a 40-yard dash alongside Rubin, Meek and Eagles players.

The kids even each signed their very own one-day contract with the team, complete a special jersey.

The crew then hit the Wells Fargo Center for the “76ers VIP Gameday Experience” where the attendees had the opportunity to take part in a Q&A with head coach Doc Rivers, and stayed for the team’s game against the Kings with lots of special treats.

The kids also provided halftime entertainment with a scrimmage game on the court.

Also participating in the special day were Jalen Hurts, Darius Slay, Dallas Goedert, Howie Roseman, Josh Harris and David Adelman.

Last year, Rubin and Meek with Reform Alliance treated 26 kids to a VIP experience at a 76ersgame, which included meeting TikTok stars Charlie and Dixie D’Amelio.

At the time, the kids all received special uniforms to play in a basketball game on the homecourt with celebs and VIPs.
