If T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach were bothered by their joint departure from ABC, they certainly weren’t showing it on Friday.
The former “GMA3” anchors, whose romance sparked an international media storm in late 2022, were photographed packing on the PDA in Los Angeles – hours after they both signed exit agreements with ABC.
Robach, 49, was seen straddling Holmes, 45, as she jumped into his arms and wrapped her legs around his waist outside of a restaurant.
The couple were all smiles as they held hands and locked lips in the California sunshine on the same day their ABC deals were “signed, executed and done,” a source told Page Six.
Holmes looked dapper in dark wash jeans and a black hoodie, which he accessorized with black sneakers, dark shades and an Apple watch.
His former co-anchor appeared equally chic in a white tee, gray sweater and high-waisted jeans that featured button detailing.
She completed the ensemble with a black shoulder bag, beige heels, aviator sunglasses and a pair of gold hoop earrings.
The duo jetted off to the west coast before ABC News officially announced they would be departing the network.
“After several productive conversations with Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes about different options, we all agreed it’s best for everyone that they move on from ABC News,” the network said in a statement at the time.
“We recognize their talent and commitment over the years and are thankful for their contributions.”
Page Six also obtained a copy of an email sent to staff by ABC News President Kimberly Godwin, in which she referred to Holmes and Robach’s romance as a “distraction.”
“I want to share with you that we’ve reached a decision about T.J. and Amy,” Godwin wrote in the memo.
“I know that this has been a distraction for so many of us, but let’s not forget all the great work that continues to make ABC News the #1 news network in America, and that’s because of you.”
She concluded, “I want to thank you again for your patience and professionalism during this time.”
The network has yet to announce who will replace Holmes and Robach on “GMA3.”
The couple’s relationship first went public in November 2022, after pictures of them holding hands were published by the Daily Mail.
Godwin then pulled the anchors from the air amid an investigation into their office romance.
It was later reported that Holmes — who wed lawyer Marilee Fiebig in 2010 — allegedly had flings with several other employees, including former intern Jasmin Pettaway and married producer Natasha Singh.
Robach — who tied the knot with “Melrose Place” actor Andrew Shue in 2010 — was reportedly “blindsided” by the extent of Homes’ alleged affairs. However, they have maintained their united front.
Robach and Shue’s divorce was “almost finalized” when the scandal first broke, a source told us at the time, while Holmes filed for divorce from Fiebig back in December.
Holmes and Fiebig share one child together – 10-year-old daughter, Sabine – while Robach is a mom to daughters Ava and Analise with her first husband, Tim McIntosh.
