Annie Wersching, best known for portraying FBI agent Renee Walker in the action drama series “24,” has died. She was 45.
The actress died Sunday morning in Los Angeles following a battle with cancer, her publicist told The Associated Press.
Wersching’s husband, Stephen Full, also confirmed the news in a statement obtained by Deadline.
“There is a cavernous hole in the soul of this family today. But she left us the tools to fill it,” the actor shared. “She found wonder in the simplest moment. She didn’t require music to dance. She taught us not to wait for adventure to find you. ‘Go find it. It’s everywhere.’ And find it we shall.”
The type of cancer the actress was battling has yet to be revealed. Page Six has reached out to her rep for comment.
