Austin Butler kicked off Golden Globes weekend romancing girlfriend Kaia Geber at an intimate dinner that W magazine hosted with Louis Vuitton.
W editor-in-chief Sara Moonves and Vuitton designer Nicolas Ghesquiere hosted the party at a private residence in Beverly Hills.
A spy told us that Butler and Gerber, “cuddled up in the corner,” as guests noshed on caviar, lobster and desserts.
Butler is one of the stars featured on the magazine’s current Best Performances issue.
Stars Cate Blanchett, Michelle Williams and Michelle Yeoh were also spotted at the party.
Gerber apparently won’t be escorting Butler, who is nominated in the Best Actor, Drama category for his role in “Elvis,” to the awards ceremony on Tuesday. He told “Entertainment Tonight” another lady will be on his arm.
“I’m going to bring my sister,” he told “Entertainment Tonight.” Butler also told the entertainment news show the decision was “hard,” but added, “she’s my one and only sister, so it’ll be nice to be with her.”
Meanwhile, the Golden Globes also announced a new batch of presenters as the awards show attempts to mount a Hollywood comeback with a live audience and telecast Tuesday night.
Hilary Swank, Jennifer Coolidge, Salma Hayek and Regina Hall will join the 80th annual awards show. Other presenters include Ana de Armas, Jamie Lee Curtis, Natasha Lyonne, Quentin Tarantino and Tracy Morgan.
The embattled awards has scored some coups: Eddie Murphy will accept the Cecil B. DeMille career award and Sean Penn will introduce Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky, who will appear to provide a “special message of peace.”
Comedian Jerrod Carmichael will host the ceremony on NBC and streaming via Peacock.
