Chrishell Stause expressed regret for calling out the People’s Choice Awards “while intoxicated” for not allowing her to bring partner G Flip.
One day after going on a Twitter spree against the E!-run awards show, the “Selling Sunset” star said she and the organization had an “internal conversation” that provided her with clarity.
“An internal conversation was had that I very much appreciate,” she tweeted late Wednesday, before launching into her own version of the “Serenity” prayer.
“Lord grant me the serenity to accept the things I can not change. The courage to change the things I can. And the wisdom to not tweet while intoxicated,” she wrote.
Stause, 41, took to Twitter following the awards show to slam the PCAs for telling her that if she wanted to bring a plus-one it had to be a cast member.
“People’s choice didn’t allow me to bring my partner to the awards. I could ONLY bring a plus 1 if it was a cast member. Wtf Sure this means I will never be nominated again but honestly fu.
“EVERY single cast member invited and some had plus ones,” Stause, who has been publicly dating the Australian musician since May, continued.
“I was nominated for best realty star and yet they said NO. Again fu.”
Stause explained that while G Flip, 28, was out of the country and “not able to go anyway,” she had been “fighting to get them in” before finding that out.
“If you are going to invite the whole cast of #sellingsunset@peopleschoice awards then why did my plus one HAVE to be a cast member or other wise told I do not get a plus one..??” Stause asked alongside an angry Cardi B gif.
“Why would some have a plus one and not me who was individually nominated from the cast?”
The former soap star was nominated in the Reality TV Star of 2022 category, which ultimately went to Khloé Kardashian. “The Kardashians” cast also beat out “Selling Sunset” for the Reality Show of 2022 award.
