Emily Ratajkowski hasn’t ditched her wedding ring after divorcing Sebastian Bear-McClard.
While discussing breakups with Tommy Dorfman on Tuesday’s episode of her “High Low” podcast, the model clarified that she “still” has her ring.
The 31-year-old noted that she doesn’t consider divorce to be “a sad thing.”
She explained, “Every time I hear a divorce story or when I see the news, I have to remind myself, ‘Oh that’s sad.’ I literally say to people, ‘Good for you.’
“I know a lot of people are unhappily married for a long time because they’re so afraid of divorce,” the actress continued. “I don’t think that’s a good way to live.”
Ratajkowski filed for divorce from Bear-McClard, 42, in September 2022, two months after Page Six broke the news of their split.
The former couple got married in February 2018, with Ratajkowski debuting her ring five months later. The sparkler featured an estimated two-carat princess-cut diamond and a three-carat pear-shaped diamond on a yellow gold band.
She and the actor went on to welcome son Sylvester, now 1, in March 2021.
While the “iCarly” alum has kept quiet about her divorce while co-parenting with Bear-McClard, she did tell Harper’s Bazaar in October 2022 that she feels “all the emotions.”
She explained, “Every day is different. The only good thing I know is that I’m feeling all those things. … It makes me believe that I’ll be OK.”
As Ratajkowski moves on from her marriage, she often speaks candidly about her return to dating.
Earlier this month, the “Gone Girl” star told podcast listeners that seeing people “casually” has been “tricky to navigate,” thanks to the paparazzi.
“Any time I go on another date, everybody knows,” Ratajkowski, who has been linked to Eric André, Eli Bronfman and Jack Greer in recent months, said on Thursday’s episode.
“So the other guys I’m dating see it, and it has been kind of difficult … it sucks,” she continued, noting that she usually feels compelled to “apologize.”
