YOLO?
An overzealous fan tried to shoot her shot with Drake in the middle of his set during h.wood group and Uncommon Entertainment’s annual Homecoming Super Bowl party on Friday night.
The rapper stopped in the middle of his 1 a.m. set at Scottdale’s private jet complex Hangar One because of a “distraction” from the audience.
“Gimme a sec,” he said to the crowd, before grabbing the fans phone and turning it to the audience to reveal the words “Let’s f–k” on the screen.
The rapper, while seemingly flattered by the gesture, declined the advance before returning to his show.
Drake, 36, delighted the crowd when he performed a melody of older songs instead of three full songs.
“I have one question for you, and I need you to answer me honestly. Tonight, they asked me to come up here and they asked me to do three songs, 20 minutes,” Drake told the audience. “I can either do my 20 minutes or we could just run through all the old shit. It’s up to you.”
He performed “God’s Plan,” “Best I Ever Had,” “Hold On, We’re Going Home,” “Started From the Bottom,” “HYFR (Hell Ya Fucking Right)” and many more.
Drake ended his show with “I Have Nothing” by Whitney Houston, explaining he wanted to end with a “moment of gratitude.”
“The greatest rapper in the world, by the way, he goes by the name of Lil Wayne, and he used to do this thing at the end of his show where he would play this song, and everybody would sing along,” he said. “It was my favorite moment of the night every night.
“So this is how we’re going to end the show tonight. I’d like to play this and dedicate this song to each and every one of you. I hope you have a great 2023. My name is Drake, and I’ll be here again to see you, I promise, but for now, let’s sing together.”
Zack Bia and Night Owl Sound also performed at the party, which was presented by Cash App & Visa. Taco Bell provided endless late-night tacos and burritos for hungry partygoers and unveiled their new “Big A** Mexican Pizza” at the event.
Cher, Serena Williams Michael Strahan were all spotted at the event, as well as Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly, who sparked breakup rumors on Sunday when the “Transformers” posted a cryptic Instagram and deleted all photos of the “Bloody Valentine” singer.
