Congratulations are in order for Ali Stroker and David Perlow!
The “Glee” alum, 35, and her husband, 37, quietly welcomed their first baby last month.
“World meet Jesse Kenneth Perlow!” the new mom wrote via Instagram Thursday. “Born 11/8 healthy and so happy to be here!
“Life will never be the same,” she continued. “We are so lucky that you are our boy! 💙💙💙💙”
The couple wed in July 2021, with the Tony winner announcing the following year that they were starting a family.
“We are having a baby!!!” the singer captioned her July Instagram reveal, featuring an ultrasound photo. “The newest member of the team is arriving in November!”
She concluded, “A dream come true!! Best year [of marriage] ever! Thank you for creating this life with me! We won the jackpot! I love you.”
Stroker’s celeb friends shared their support in the comments.
“Oh my gosh congratulations! Get ready for all of the excitement so happy for you!” “Glee”‘s Max Adler wrote at the time.
Broadway’s Jesse Tyler Ferguson added his “congratulations,” with Matt Bomer writing, “Ali!!! Yes!!! I’m so happy for you!!!!”
While Stroker and Perlow met in college at New York University, they reconnected and began dating in 2015 while co-starring in “Spring Awakening.”
Four years later, the actress told People how “gorgeous” her partner is.
“As a little girl I think I was always afraid of not finding someone who would choose this,” she said in the July 2019 interview, referencing her wheelchair from the spinal cord injury she suffered from a car accident as a toddler.
“He was so cute at the Tony Awards, asking me which side I wanted him on for photos,” Stroker continued at the time. “I look at those pictures and am like, ‘That’s my dream. To find this partner, who wants to be by my side and is so proud of me.’”
She concluded that his red carpet gesture meant “so much.”
