John Legend and Chrissy Teigen’s kids had the sweetest reaction to their younger sister Esti’s birth.
The EGOT winner told his Instagram followers on Thursday how “thrilled” he was watching daughter Luna, 6, and son Miles, 4, “embrace” the infant after her Jan. 13 arrival.
Legend, 44, went on to give Teigen, 37, a sweet shout-out.
“I’m in awe of Chrissy’s strength and resilience,” he wrote. “Our house is overflowing with love and joy. I’m so, so grateful, but that doesn’t seem like a big enough word.”
The “All of Me” singer broke the news that his family grew during a concert last week.
“What a blessed day,” he reportedly said, clarifying that he felt “energized” despite not getting “a lot of sleep” and spending “a lot of time” at the hospital.
Legend and Teigen waited until Thursday to post the first photo of the newborn, sharing the same sweet snap of Luna and Miles holding Esti and smiling at her.
“She’s here!” the model gushed. “the house is bustling and our family could not be happier 💕 Daddy sheds nightly tears of joy seeing Luna and Miles so full of love, and I am learning you still need diapers with a c section!?”
Teigen concluded, “We are in bliss. Thank you for all the love and well wishes — we feel it all! X.”
The “Cravings” cookbook author gave birth to Luna and Miles in April 2016 and May 2018, respectively.
In August 2020, she announced that baby No. 3 was on the way — but her son Jack died in a “life-saving abortion” the following month.
Teigen underwent in vitro fertilization in early 2022, debuting her baby bump in August of that year.
“1 billion shots later (in the leg lately, as u can see!) we have another on the way,” the former “Bring the Funny” judge gushed via Instagram at the time.
“I don’t think I’ll ever walk out of an appointment with more excitement than nerves but so far, everything is perfect and beautiful and I’m feeling hopeful and amazing.”
