Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards celebrated his 39th wedding anniversary with his wife Patti Hansen by recreating their kiss from the big day.
The pair’s daughter Theodora, took to Instagram to share the sweet photos documenting their love by posting a snap of the pair kissing at their nuptials beside a photo of the lovebirds sharing a smooch while Hansen wore her wedding dress.
Theodora, 37, also explained that they were celebrating her dad’s 79th birthday as well.
“A jubilee happened yesterday 🎂💋🍯🇦🇷💕🪩 My parents had a party where we celebrated my dad being another year older and that my parents have been married for 39 years,” Theodora captioned a series of photos posted to her Instagram on Monday, adding, “really it’s 43yrs of togetherness but we’ll go off the legitimacy of their 1983 Cabo wedding.”
The model added that she is “so proud” of her family.
“We’ve been through a lot but the love is so strong and powerful that it carries us forever forward on a cloud of compassion and courage,” she wrote. “I love you mom and dad. You guys are my inspiration. And HAPPIEST BIRTHDAY dear Daddio.”
Richards posted a black-and-white photo from their wedding day to his own Instagram to celebrate his wife.
“Happy Anniversary, Patricia❤️ .Love, Keith,” he captioned the post on Sunday. In the pic, he was seen playing guitar for Hansen, now 66, as she sits at a table in her veil and wedding gown.
His Rolling Stones bandmate, Mick Jagger, took to Instagram to celebrate Richards’ birthday, writing on Sunday, “Happy birthday @officialkeef! Love Mick x.”
Richards married his model wife on Dec. 18, 1983. They share two children together: Theodora and 36-year-old Alexandra.
The rock star also welcomed three children with ex-partner and muse Anita Pallenberg. Pallenberg, who passed away in 2017 at the age of 75, and Richards shared son Marlon, 53, daughter Angela, 50, and son Tara, who died when he was 10 weeks old.
