Kyle Richards is “very sad” to see Lisa Rinna leave “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” despite the pair’s ups and downs over the last season.
“Lisa brought a lot to the show on her eight years of being on, and regardless of what happened last year — people have very strong feelings about what happened last year — regardless of that, she brought a lot to the show,” Richards said Wednesday while hosting a “Cozy Comforts”-themed Amazon Live stream.
“It’s very strange to think that she’s gone, and I’m not someone who likes change,” she continued, adding that she “will miss” Rinna.
“I will say [Lisa] was always very supportive of me in my personal life and my business life. Any time I was producing a show or in a movie, whatever it was, she was always extremely supportive and we had a lot of fun. So, it’s a big loss for me personally.”
While Richards, 54, is holding onto the “amazing times” she shared with Rinna, fans are still focused on the Season 12 feud involving the two ladies and Kathy Hilton.
The “Days of Our Lives” alum caused a rift between the two sisters after she accused Hilton of having a “meltdown” during the cast trip to Aspen.
In fact, the 59-year-old claimed Hilton threatened to “f–king ruin Kyle” and her family, however, nothing was caught on camera.
Hilton, 63, vehemently denied Rinna’s recollection of that night, calling her the “biggest bully in Hollywood.”
Although Richards and Hilton have yet to make amends, the “Halloween Ends” actress defended her reaction to Rinna’s claims on Amazon Live.
“People have such strong feelings about last season, obviously, because of Lisa and my sister Kathy,” Richards explained.
“People would say, ‘Why didn’t you speak up and defend your sister?’ I can’t always explain things, but sometimes being quiet may look like it’s the easy way out, but it’s actually the hardest thing to do.”
Rinna announced she was leaving the reality show last week after mutually agreeing with Bravo that it was time to part ways.
“This is the longest job I have held in my 35 year career and I am grateful to everyone at Bravo and all those involved in the series,” Rinna told People in a statement.
“It has been a fun eight-year run and I am excited for what is to come!”
