Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott are ready to officially change their son’s name — over one year after he was born.
The on-again, off-again couple recently filed docs requesting to legally change the little one’s name from Wolfe Jacques Webster to Aire Webster.
According to TMZ, the famous parents said they “regret the initial name choice” and now that they “have had the chance to spend time with their baby, they believe the name Aire Webster is a better fit.”
Both Jenner and Scott signed off on the petition and are currently waiting for the courts to finalize the name change.
The “Kardashians” star, 25, and rapper, 31, announced in March 2022 — one month after their son’s arrival —that they had changed his moniker.
“FYI OUR SONS NAME ISN’T WOLF ANYMORE,” Jenner wrote on her Instagram Story, adding, “WE JUST REALLY DIDN’T FEEL LIKE IT WAS HIM.”
However, it wasn’t until January 2023 that they unveiled his new name alongside the first photos of the little one’s face.
In one of the snaps, Jenner and Aire posed for a cute mirror selfie while in another the 1-year-old rocked a beanie and race car pajamas.
After some confusion regarding the “e” at the end of Aire’s name, Kylie also clarified that it was pronounced the same way as the element.
Although the name reportedly means “Lion of God” in Hebrew, the couple apparently didn’t do enough research as fans were quick to point out that it’s also slang for “penis” in Arabic.
“God help her if she comes to the Middle East,” commented a fan, while one more chimed in, “all my Lebanese people [are] wheezing right now.”
Meanwhile, one TikToker joked that Jenner must have taken some inspiration from the popular series “Avatar: The Last Airbender.”

In a short video, the influencer used audio from the opening scene of the animated series — which describes the four elements: Water, Earth, Fire and Air — to imitate how he thought Jenner and Scott landed on their son’s name.
The slight jab didn’t seem to offend the Kylie Cosmetics founder, who commented two laughing emojis underneath the skit.
The reality TV star and “Sicko Mode” rapper, who started dating in 2017, also share daughter Stormi, 5.
