’Tis the season of peace and goodwill to all. Even Page Six.
In 2022, we’ve covered Mayor Eric Adams’ epic one-man conga line through every members-only club, dive bar, gala, awards ceremony and envelope soft opening in town — helping cement his reputation as the SantaCon of municipal leaders.
But the ever-ebullient Adams still shared a festive moment with us, showing up at The New York Post holiday party Tuesday night in Chelsea — and cheerfully joking with a PageSix.com reporter that the page “covers me more than anyone else.” (When the scribe pointed out that he does, after all, love to party, he gave a laugh.)
Used to balancing work and fêtes, Adams even briefly jumped into action to work the coat check, tagging and hanging some stunned staffers’ outerwear.
Let’s just say that a spy at the bash told us of Hizzoner, “He made the rounds with his security and he was taking pics with everyone.”
Adams did not imbibe at the bash, and his guards apparently made sure there was no alcohol in any photos that were snapped with him.
Said a witness, “He was a good sport . . . He took pics with anyone who asked,” including shots with various Snapchat filters.
Adams is known to be a surprise guest at parties around town.
We reported earlier this month that he was an unexpected attendee at former Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s 65th birthday party at the Upper East Side home of Cuomo’s sister Maria Cuomo Cole and her fashion mogul husband, Kenneth Cole.
In September, the mayor celebrated his own 62nd birthday at an intimate gathering of about 30 people. He famously loves to socialize and has been a regular on the city’s gala circuit, including the famed Met Gala, as well as at hot spots such as private clubs Zero Bond and Aman New York.
