Morgan Radford is a mom!
The NBC News correspondent announced on Saturday that she gave birth to her and her husband David Williams’ first baby, a daughter named Adalana.
“She is mommy’s bundle of joy, new best friend, and her wildest dream,” the 35-year-old gushed via Instagram over the weekend. “She is the apple of her daddy’s eye and the keeper of his heart.
“A good friend / colleague told me that to know a love like this is to live forever … and I feel like I’ve already lived an eternity,” she concluded.
Radford revealed her pregnancy in August 2022, telling “Today” show co-hosts Dylan Dreyer and Sheinelle Jones that she was “really excited” for motherhood.
“I haven’t bought anything, I don’t know the gender, I haven’t quite read all the books,” she admitted. “And by all, I mean any.
“So I’ll take all the tips,” the journalist continued. “Send some advice my way.”
Later that same week, Radford thanked her fans for sending their words of wisdom.
“Thank you … for the kind messages, parenting advice, warm wishes, story ideas, and virtual hugs,” she wrote via Instagram at the time. “I read (and feel!) every single one.”
The then-expectant star also shared a video of her family members finding out about her upcoming arrival.
“I’ve never seen my mom this excited,” Radford said. “I’m my dad’s baby girl, so this was an especially tender moment for him.”
As for Williams’ mother and father, she added, “David’s parents can’t wait to spoil this kid with soccer gear and Detroit-themed onesies.”
Williams met Radford at Harvard University in 2007, and they reconnected a decade later. The couple got engaged in November 2019.
Although the duo postponed their nuptials amid the COVID-19 pandemic, they went on to wed in January.
The groom called the Colombia ceremony the “best weekend of [his] life” in a gushing Instagram post.
Radford, meanwhile, told Essence, “The thing I look forward to most [about marriage] is continuing to have the consistency that David already provides me.”
“My life is an exciting choreography of flights, breaking news, travel,” she continued. “No matter where I am in the world, I always know my place within it with David.”
