New year, new home?
North West treated her two Pomeranians, Sushi and Sake, to a homemade meal in her mom Kim Kardashian’s kitchen — more than two weeks after the family came under fire for keeping the dogs in the garage.
The progeny of Kardashian and disgraced rapper Kanye West filmed a TikTok video of herself preparing a special meal for her pooches that consisted of human food in honor of New Year’s Day.
The colorful dish included lettuce, pears, chicken, peanut butter, carrots and salmon.
To get ahead of any backlash, the 9-year-old smartly panned to a guide showing which human foods dogs can consume.
“New Year’s dog plates,” she captioned the clip.
It’s unclear whether the dogs have permanently relocated to live within the walls of Kardashian’s estate or if they were merely spoiled with a one-time indoor meal.
North’s video landed on social media not long after fans slammed her mom for accidentally revealing in a since-deleted clip that her dogs may live in their garage full-time.
“This video was deleted from North’s account. Is it because Kim Kardashian doesn’t want people to think they keep their dogs in the garage? I wonder why they deleted it,” asked a TikTok user who reposted the video.
In response, PETA told Page Six exclusively that it was “hoping hard” that the reality star, 42, didn’t force her pups to live in a space meant for cars — no matter how large.
“Knowing that Kim Kardashian is anti-fur and mostly vegan, we are hoping hard that she does not relegate her dogs to life in a garage,” the organization’s senior vice president, Lisa Lange, told us.
“What PETA does know is that dogs are highly social pack animals who need more than just soft beds and decorative stockings: They deserve to feel safe, loved and to live inside the house as part of the family.”
