At least one of Pamela Anderson’s exes is happy with being mentioned in her Netflix documentary.
“Congrats to you guys. Look forward to watching,” professional surfer Kelly Slater commented with a smiley face on photos from the premiere posted by Anderson’s son Brandon Lee.
Slater, 50, met Anderson, 55, on the set of “Baywatch” in 1992 when he played a character named Jimmy Slade for 23 episodes.
“He was my big love actually,” she said in “Pamela, a Love Story,” about Slater. “He was such a sweetheart to me and so good to me.”
The “Barb Wire” star confessed that the two weren’t exactly exclusive and “were together between lots of boyfriends and girlfriends for him too. He definitely was a heartbreaker, I mean he was just a free spirit, you couldn’t get your hands around him but you don’t own anybody.”
Anderson was actually dating Slater when she impulsively married drummer Tommy Lee on a beach in Cancun in 1995, after having known each other for four days.
The “Home Improvement” alum reveals that she was supposed to visit Slater in Florida and meet his family after her Cancun trip.
“My first phone call was to him to tell him I was married,” she said. “He was like, ‘What?’ That was horrible.”
Other exes mentioned in the documentary include David Charvet, Scott Baio, and Mario Van Peebles.
Slater’s sweet message contrasts with Tommy Lee’s current wife, Brittany Furlan.
The former Vine personality is being criticized over a TikTok video she posted that intimated Anderson couldn’t care less if she died.
In the video, Furlan used a “’90s Pam Makeup” filter on herself and repeatedly said, “Oh, oh” in an unfazed manner while Lee sat next to her not paying attention.
“Pam if I died,” she wrote over the clip, which came on the heels of Anderson’s documentary and memoir, “Love, Pamela.”
Furlan attempted to ameliorate the situation by captioning the video: “Pls guys I gotta make jokes it’s how I cope.”
