Just call it ice that warms the heart.
While Paris Hilton’s jaw-dropping engagement ring from husband Carter Reum made headlines last year, the star tells Page Six Style she once unwrapped an equally impressive diamond necklace from her spouse that left her speechless.
“It’s one of the most stylish necklaces I’ve ever seen,” she recalls of the meaningful bling made by Jean Dousset, the same jeweler behind her personalized sparkler (who also happens to be the great-great-grandson of Louis Cartier).
“It was a surprise gift, and it took my mom and [my] breath away when we opened it together.”
This year, Hilton and Reum — who recently celebrated their first wedding anniversary — just might be ringing in the holidays with something else breathtaking: seaside views.
“We’ll be with family [for the holidays] as we love family holiday traditions, but we also love our alone time so we’re going to go somewhere off the grid … just the two of us, hopefully tropical,” says Hilton.
The couple will be be exchanging heartfelt presents before they jet off, with the “Cooking with Paris” star hoping to receive something in line with her signature style — “either pink, holographic or sparkly” — and treating Reum to the new Omnilux Men Mask ($395).
Omnilux Men Mask ($395)
“We love our wellness routine,” she explains of selecting the beauty device, which — like its counterpart, the Omnilux Countour Mask ($395) — uses red light LED therapy and claims to combat fine lines and wrinkles, calm inflammation and more.
Meanwhile, Kathy Hilton might find a blinged-out bag beneath the tree this year, as Paris tells us she’s planning to get her mom “a purse from Judith Leiber or something from Chanel.”
And as for the littlest members of the family? “They’re all so young and cute,” she says of sister Nicky Hilton Rothschild’s children, 6-year-old Lily-Grace and 4-year-old Teddy.
“I usually give them fun outfits or toys with rainbows, unicorns or sparkly colors, so we can match when they wear the gifts.”
She’s also adding a personal touch to the presents she buys in bulk, saying she orders “a ton” of her own Paris Hilton fragrances when the holidays roll around.
Paris Hilton Ruby Rush Eau de Parfum Spray ($75)
“I have 29 perfumes, so there’s lots to choose from,” she says. “This year, I’m going to get people the Ruby Rush fragrance. It comes in a gorgeous red metallic bottle, which is perfect for a holiday gift!”
But while she’s giving the gift of smelling great this year, Hilton’s previously unwrapped some fishy presents herself.
“One time someone sent me a dancing fish that wiggled and danced when it was hung on a wall,” she recalls. “It wasn’t my style.”
