Presley Gerber and model Lexi Wood have reportedly called it quits after less than a year of dating.
“They realized very quickly it wasn’t going to be a long-term relationship,” a source told E! News, while another added that Wood was the one who broke things off.
According to the insider, Lexi ended things because she “wants to focus on herself, her modeling, podcast and partnerships.”
The news comes just over one month after the pair sparked engagement rumors after sharing a very suggestive post on Instagram.
“Guys I did it… ❤️♾️❤️,” Presley, 23, captioned a since-deleted photo dump of the former couple — including one of Presley gripping Wood’s bikini-clad backside.
“Guys, I did it. I’ve found the person that makes me the happiest person I’ve ever been,” an audio said over a clip of Wood wearing a “Gerber” jersey.
The 25-year-old model reposted the snaps to her Instagram Story alongside a red heart, an infinity sign and a lock and key emoji.
Following their dramatic social media debut, the pair stepped out onto their first red carpet together alongside Presley’s famous parents, Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber.
However, things seemingly took a turn for the worse as both of the models scrubbed one another from their social media accounts shortly after.
In fact, Wood appeared to take a dig at her former beau over the weekend by sharing a quote about dating people who are “never satisfied.”
“She moved on and I feel story for you, because she overlooked your flaws, your temper, your selfishness, your inability to love anyone but yourself,” the quote read. “She could have anyone in the world, but she still chose you every time. All you are now is a crease in her past, a scar on her chest, a memory that fades faster than a photograph of you in a sealed box, hidden.”
The quote continued, “Maybe she will now fight for someone who loves her, instead of someone who sucks the life out of her, never satisfied, even with her beating heart in his greedy hands.’”
