Randall Emmett took to social media to clear his name after his ex-wife, Ambyr Childers, claimed the FBI is investigating him for pedophilia.
“At this point, the lies have been stretched so far,” the “Irishman” producer, 51, said in a video posted on Instagram Friday.
“We spent today getting confirmation because we knew there was no truthfulness to any of this, that the FBI has never been investigating me and isn’t investigating me because there’s nothing to investigate.”
Emmett previously denied the allegations in a statement to Page Six as well, telling us, “I am not being investigated by the FBI nor anyone else, and the notion that I am is beyond absurd.”
He added, “Anyone can say whatever they want in a pleading; that doesn’t make it true. There is zero evidence that I’m being investigated for anything, and we still share 50/50 custody of our children.”
Emmett concluded, “I am shocked and in utter disbelief that Ambyr would even hint at something so disgusting and untrue.”
Childers, who shares 12-year-old London and 9-year-old Rylee with the filmmaker, alleged in a signed declaration that she submitted as part of a domestic violence restraining order request that the FBI investigated her ex-husband for “suspected child exploitation and pedophilia.”
The “You” actress claimed she learned of the investigation on Dec. 6 when she “was contacted by a special agent of the Federal Bureau of Investigation asking [her] questions about [Emmett’s] suspected activities with child exploitation and pedophilia.”
Per the Los Angeles Times, Childers’ request was temporarily granted on Dec. 22 in regards to her, and the judge scheduled a hearing for Jan. 12 to review joint custody matters.
The publication also reported Thursday that they spoke to three other individuals who claimed the FBI contacted them about Emmett’s activities.
A rep for Childers did not immediately return Page Six’s request for comment on Emmett’s latest Instagram video.
Aside from shutting down the FBI investigation claims, the “Lone Survivor” producer also addressed his other ex Lala Kent’s comments about their pending custody issues.
The “Vanderpump Rules” star, who shares 1-year-old daughter, Ocean, with Emmett, explained to an Instagram user this week that the “Midnight in the Switchgrass” filmmaker still has shared custody because of the difficulties of the “family court system.”
“I have custody of all my children because I’m a good father and I’m a good person,” Emmett rebuffed in his Instagram video.
“At the end of the day, you know, that is what is the most important thing. At the end of my life, no matter what happens, I’m going to look my three daughters in the face and they’re going to know their dad was a great father.”
Later on Friday evening, Emmett posted an Instagram Story of him finger-painting with his and Kent’s daughter.
A rep for comment Kent did not immediately return Page Six’s request for comment.
Emmett also said Friday he had previously taken the “high road” because he has three daughters, but he felt the need to “say something that actually was the truth.”
