Shania Twain, 57, looked unrecognizable for the second time this week when she stepped out on the Grammys 2023 red carpet in a very Cruella de Vil black-and-white spotted suit, enormous hat and bright red wig — and fans are loving her Disney villain moment.
The “That Don’t Impress Me Much” singer rocked a white sequin Harris Reed suit with black polka dots for her Grammys appearance, with her trousers from the Harry Styles-loved label featuring extra-wide flares.
Twain paired the suit with a black bustier underneath, adding a tall polka dot hat with a wide brim, also by the designer.
Along with the fiery red long wig with bangs, the “From this Moment On” singer wore diamond earrings and a matching necklace from Messika.
“I’m in a very happy place right now,” she told E! on the red carpet, discussing her newly released album, “Queen of Me” and saying she felt “light and bubbly and happy and fun.”
Discussing her ensemble (and her hair), Twain added, “it was black and white so I needed to have a little bit of, you know, splash of color.”
Many fans on social media were loving the bold black-and-white look.
“I like that it’s fun and different… everyone is so basic today,” one fan commented on the Check the Tag Instagram account.
“I’m honestly here for it. I love that she’s playing with fashion,” another added, while a third wrote, “Big slay I can’t lie.”
Earlier this week, the songstress went blond when she made an appearance at a Republic Records event, looking like a totally different woman with her long, platinum locks.
Along with her new fashion era, Twain teased some new music with none other than fellow Harris Reed enthusiast Harry Styles, whom she performed with at Coachella 2022.
“I think we would sound very good together,” she said. “He’s busy, I’m busy, we will do it.”
Let’s hope the pair team up for a fashion collaboration as well.
