They grow up so fast.
Tom Brady’s eldest son, 15-year-old John “Jack” Edward, already stands tall at 6-foot-1 — and has started dipping into his dad’s duds.
On the latest episode of his SiriusXM podcast, “Let’s Go! With Tom Brady, Larry Fitzgerald and Jim Gray,” the famous football player revealed that Jack (whom he shares with ex Bridget Moynihan) is already borrowing his clothes.
“He’s starting to wear my shoes,” the 45-year-old Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback said.
“He went into my closet the other night because he was going out with his cousins and he was like, ‘Dad, can I see what’s in your closet to wear?’ And I was like, oh, s—t, he’s going to start wearing my clothes.”
Added the NFL star, “I did that with my dad, too, so maybe that’s a little bit of a young man’s rite of passage, going to dad’s closet and start using his stuff.”
Jack certainly has some excellent looks from which to choose.
“You should see our closets, it’s so funny,” Brady’s supermodel ex-wife, Gisele Bündchen, told WSJ. Magazine in 2018. “I would say that he likes fashion more than I like fashion.”
Brady and Bündchen, who were red carpet fixtures throughout their 13-year-marriage, divorced in October 2022. The pair share two children: son Benjamin, 13, and daughter Vivian, 10.
And Jack isn’t just raiding his dad’s closet — he’s also hitting the football field (although Brady doesn’t want to put any pressure on him).
During an October 2022 episode of his podcast, Brady said, “I think there are very few things in life that I could probably help him with. I don’t have a lot of specialties in life other than probably throwing a football. He’s way smarter. He’s got great work ethic. … But I can definitely help him at quarterback.”
He also complimented Jack’s skills, saying he has “great hand-eye coordination” and “he actually moves better than I did at his age.”
The Super Bowl champ celebrated Christmas this year belatedly with all three of his kids.
