A woman has accused actor LaKeith Stanfield of being the father of her baby girl, Apollo.
On Saturday, artist Tylor Hurd posted an Instagram reel of her baby girl and the “Sorry to Bother You” actor, 31, sharing sweet moments together. In one part of the clip, Stanfield could be seen dancing in front of the newborn as she sat in a chair watching him.
The “Atlanta” actor was also photographed holding Apollo for a photo shoot and at a family entertainment center.
“decided to leave being someone’s secret family in 2022 ❤️ meet Apollo Stanfield,” Hurd, 24, captioned the post.
In now-deleted comments captured by The Neighborhood Talk, Stanfield seemingly took an issue with Hurd posting their daughter.
“Thanks for respecting my not wanting to blast my child out to the internet,” he sarcastically wrote. “Very considerate of you.”
Hurd replied, “value your privacy is why you lied to people saying she wasn’t your baby or that I was just a random? you value your privacy but your gf post (sic) everything y’all do lol okay.”
Stanfield then refuted Hurd’s claims, writing that he “never said” Apollo wasn’t his baby, adding, “I hope this does whatever it was supposed to do for you.”
Hurd’s post comes hours after the “Get Out” actor publicly shared that he was engaged to his girlfriend, Kasmerre Trice.
“Happy birthday to you baby.🌹💫,” he captioned a black-and-white image of Trice showing off her new diamond ring.
Trice also commemorated the engagement news on her respective Instagram account, writing, “happy birthday, mrs. Stanfield ☺️💍🥳 #priceyiceyWIFEY 😝😍.”
Hurd later clarified that she did not share the news about her daughter’s paternity due to jealousy about Stanfield’s engagement.
“just to clear a few things up I’m not jealous that’s (sic) he’s engaged to a woman he’s known for 5 months,” she wrote on her Instagram Stories Saturday.
“I tried to meet the girl and everything and she ignored me when i tried. what I’m upset about is that he made more time to spend with this woman than he’s spent with Apollo her whole life and has been actively ignoring me when I’m trying to figure things out for our child.”
She concluded, “Those clips of him and her together are all I have in general cause he barely sees her.”
Stanfield also shares a child with ex Xosha Roquemore, whom they reportedly welcomed together in June 2017.
Page Six has reached out to Stanfield’s rep for comment but has not heard back.
