Lala Kent gave fans a peek into her recovery from a recent cosmetic procedure, showing off a bruised-up and swollen face.
The “Vanderpump Rules” star explained that she recently opted to get platelet-rich fibrin injections (PRF) and a micro-needling procedure in a bid to plump her skin.
PRF injections use your own blood to help rejuvenate your skin and stimulate stem cells.
“Today was the last day of work, I have downtime (this procedure doesn’t have much anyway), so I got PRF + micro-needling,” she wrote on her Instagram Story Tuesday. “I haven’t done this since before the pandemic.”

Going into more detail about the procedure itself, Kent explained that “they draw your blood, separate the platelets, then put the platelets on our skin and micro-needle it in.”
“The reasoning: helps with scarring, skin texture, plumping, the list of benefits goes on,” Kent went on.
“I also had them inject the remaining platelets under my eyes. I like doing that more than injecting filler into the tear trough. I’ll post updates,” the mom-of-one added.

The Give Them Lala Beauty founder recently opened up about wanting to have more children soon, revealing she plans to use a sperm donor for her next baby.
The 32-year-old welcomed her first child, daughter Ocean, in March 2021 with her then-fiancé and baby’s father, Randall Emmett.

But seven months after welcoming their baby girl, Kent called things off with Emmett after a cheating scandal that ultimately led to their relationship’s demise.
Earlier this year, Kent claimed that Emmett became physical with her when she confronted him about the alleged infidelity that led to their split — accusations he staunchly denied.
