Melissa Gorga gets new chandelier after fan hate

Expecto Patronum!

Melissa Gorga got rid of the black fabric “Dementor”-style chandeliers in her new home after receiving negative feedback from fans.

The “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star, 43, recently shared a video on Instagram to show off her new light fixture in the foyer of her Franklin Lakes house, which features more than two dozen rectangular, vertical LED pendants.

The lights are “cascading bubbles encapsulated in K9 crystals” with dark bronze caps at the top, according to Avenue Lighting, where Gorga purchased the piece.

“Sometimes you need to live in the home for a minute to decide what fits perfectly,” she wrote.

“I absolutely love playing with home decor- I always have✨ Waking up to this beauty is just sooo much better✨😍,” she captioned the video, seemingly referring to her polarizing first chandelier.

The Bravolebrity emphasized that she enjoyed “play[ing] around” with interior design, noting that “decor is a process” to see what “fits perfectly.”

The updated look still received mixed reviews from Gorga’s followers, but most people seemed to appreciate that her original fixture — which had sparked comparisons to the wraithlike, soul-sucking creatures in the “Harry Potter” movies — were finally gone.

“Thank you for taking the feedback from us viewers . The original chandelier was hideous,” one Instagram user wrote.

“I just know you watched that tik tok cause you changed the chandelier and tagged your designer,” another speculated.

“Thank god you got rid of those black chandeliers,” a third fan chimed in.

Gorga deleted the original video after fans compared her black, oval chandeliers with hanging strings to “garbage bags.”

The Envy founder gave a behind-the-scenes tour of her new six-bedroom, 5,000-square-foot crib to “Entertainment Tonight” last month, as she showed her office surrounded by glass walls, two built-in bars and a poker bar downstairs that her husband, Joe Gorga, enjoys with his fellow “RHONJ” husbands.

It doesn’t appear that the Gorgas have hosted a housewarming party, but if they do, Joe’s sister, Teresa Giudice, most likely won’t be in attendance.

The Giudice-Gorga family has been at odds ever since their rocky relationship reached an all-time low while filming Season 13 of “RHONJ,” which ultimately resulted in Melissa and Joe, 48, skipping out on Giudice’s wedding to Luis Ruelas last August.

The feud has gotten so bad that the “RHONJ” panel at BravoCon 2022 in October had to be split into two parts to separate Giudice, 50, from her brother and sister-in-law.
