Pregnant Keke Palmer ‘can’t wait’ to get her hands on her baby

Pregnant Keke Palmer says she “can’t wait” to meet her baby.

“I’m very excited, nervous, and curious more than anything because it’s one of those things that no one can really prepare you for,” the “Hustlers” star told Page Six exclusively at the New York Film Critics Circle Awards earlier this week.

“More than anything, I can’t wait to get my hands on my baby,” she added.

The actress, 28, who is expecting her first child with boyfriend, Darius Jackson, shared that expecting has made her change pace.

“I’m a naturally fast-paced person,” she explained. “For me, life is going at least 90 miles per hour, that’s me cruising. So yeah, I think in general, whether it’s the holidays or this transition I’m having in my life, slowing down is definitely not something that comes naturally to me.”

Though Palmer, who was at the event to accept the award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in “Nope,” has been on our screens since she was a young girl, she admitted that she is amazed at her enduring career.

“Time flies it really does shock me when I think about how long I’ve been doing it but I really love it,” the “True Jackson, VP” told us.

“I’m really so lucky that I found something I love to do so early and that I stuck with it even when it get hard because it definitely got hard and it doesn’t always pay to be an actor but I’m happy I stuck with it because it’s always given more to me than I feel I’ve been able to give it.”

Last month, the “Hustlers” actress announced that she was expecting during her opening monologue while hosting “Saturday Night Live.”

“There’s some rumors going around. People have been in my comments saying ‘Keke’s having a baby, Keke’s pregnant,’ and I want to set the record straight — I am,” she said on Dec. 3 as she opened her blazer, revealing her growing baby bump.

Since sharing the exciting news, Palmer has kept fans up to date on her pregnancy journey. Earlier this week, she shared an unexpected advantage to being with child, as it has helped to clear her acne woes.

“I found the secret to clearing up my acne, and guess what it is? You need to get knocked up. Period. Point blank. Period,” Palmer shared on Instagram Wednesday.

“The reason my skin is clear is because I’m pregnant with a baby right now … The baby has cleared my skin up.”

“I’m about to be pregnant for the rest of my life,” she joked.

Palmer and Jackson began dating in 2021 after meeting at Diddy and Issa Rae’s Memorial Day party.
