Savannah Chrisley announces new family show as parents remain in prison

Savannah Chrisley has revealed that her family has a brand new show in the works as her parents Todd and Julie Chrisley remain in prison.

On Tuesday’s episode of her “Unlocked With Savannah Chrisley” podcastthe 25-year-old teased that fans will soon be able to get a glimpse of her family’s “new normal.”

Speaking to niece Chloe Chrisley, whom she was left to raise, and grandmother Nanny Faye, Savannah teased that she’s “talking to a few production companies” about another show.

“We’re going to touch on where we’re at today, Mom and Dad being gone, how we’re coping with it, how we get through it,” she revealed.

“Also too, having two kids and all of us stepping in to make sure that they have what they need emotionally, psychologically, physically, all the things, I feel like there’s a level of humor to it as well.”

After the trio joked that the new project should be called “Nanny Knows Best” as a loving nod to Todd’s mother, Savannah admitted the new TV show “will be heartwarming.”

“It’ll break your heart,” she added, promising fans they’ll “laugh.”

And it seems as though Savannah isn’t the only one ready to get to work.

“I’m ready to walk down that highway any day … I’m ready,” Nanny Faye added. “We’ll say ‘Well look at these Bounce Back Chrisleys.’”

As Savannah continues to adjust to the family’s “new normal,” she’s determined to make the best out of a bad situation.

“At the end of the day, we’re not going to allow this to stop us from moving forward,” she said.

During the episode, Savannah admitted that the family didn’t have much say over what aired on their hit show “Chrisley Knows Best.”

“It became more of a comedy than it was reality,” she added.

The Chrisleys were sentenced to a combined 19 years in prison for fraud and tax evasion in November.

NBC Universal pulled the plug on the family’s hit show following the sentencing. Todd and Julie’s spinoff show, “Growing Up Chrisley,” was also axed.

Just one month before the pair were convicted in June 2022, “Chrisley Knows best” was green-lit for a tenth and final season.

And despite the pair’s respective sentences, USA Network is airing a shortened version of season 10 this year.

Todd, 53, last month began his 12-year sentence at Federal Prison Camp Pensacola, while Julie, 50, is spending the next seven years two-and-a-half hours away at Federal Correctional Institution and Federal Prison Camp Marianna.
